The Chambers Dutch Family of long distance racing pigeons was  was founded in 1991 with the gift of four birds from good friend  the late Win Cole of Midlebrougher.  Contained within these four birds was NEHU 91 MDS 6921 &  NEHU 91 MDS 6923 . These two pigeons were the sire and dam of the now famous "Dutch Cock" who flew over 15 hours on the day from 553 miles in a north east wind to claim 1st Section 1st Open Midland national Flying Club Bergerac in 1997 before being retired to the stock loft where he founded a dynasty of long distance champions.  These include The Bergerac Hen, Tripple Seven, The Don,  Next Gen, and DutchThunder. 

 

Collectively the Dutch Family have won two nationals, been awarded 11 RPRA awards across four generations.
